    Factor ELARA

The fastest gravel bike on the roughest ground

Gravel racing has changed. What started as an escape from the road has become one of the most competitive disciplines in cycling, with speeds now closing in on WorldTour pace. The Factor ELARA was built for exactly that shift, designed to be the fastest bike across the UCI Gravel World Series, the Gravel Earth Series, and the World Championships.

57 mm tyre clearance without giving up speed

What began as an update to the OSTRO Gravel turned into a full redesign. Testing revealed that at race speed, the ELARA actually benefits from wider tyres: they lower rolling resistance and cut puncture risk significantly on rough ground. What initially seemed excessive for a race-focused gravel bike became, within a few months, a prototype that rode noticeably faster. The result is a frame with up to 57 mm tyre clearance, without losing the handling Factor is known for. The geometry stays direct and agile, with tight chainstays that keep the bike responsive even at speed on loose terrain.

    Lighter, stiffer, faster

The ELARA is built as a true monocoque, rather than bonding a front triangle to the rear stays. That makes it lighter than its predecessor, while stiffness actually increases. The front triangle draws on the same aerodynamic knowledge as Factor's road bikes, delivering a measurable drop in drag, even with wide gravel tyres. The result is road-level aerodynamics combined with the strength you need on rough terrain.
