Custom Built: Pinarello Dogma XC – A Dream Mountain Bike Project
Every now and then, a project comes along where everything just clicks. Together with one of our customers, we built this Pinarello Dogma XC from the ground up. The result? An ultra-light, fully custom MTB built with nothing but the best components. A dream bike, no compromises.
Frame: The Perfect Foundation
We started with the Pinarello Dogma XC in Pure Red, size L. This is the top-tier MTB frame from Pinarello, developed in collaboration with Tom Pidcock and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. Its geometry is short and sporty, making it agile and responsive on the trails, while still maintaining stability. A fantastic foundation for any dream build.
Suspension: Smart and Automatic
Our customer wanted the best of the best, so we went with the revolutionary RockShox Flight Attendant system. Combined with the powermeter, this suspension automatically adjusts based on terrain and rider input. No switches, no thinking—just pure performance.
Drivetrain: SRAM XX SL Transmission
The latest from SRAM: the XX SL Transmission, fully wireless and paired with a powermeter. Super fast, incredibly light, and ready for anything you throw at it.
Wheels & Tires: Ultra-Light, Ultra-Fast
We teamed up with Radsporttechnik Müller in Germany for a custom set of handbuilt carbon-spoked wheels. The total weight? Just 860 grams.
Wrapped in Maxxis Aspen ST Team Spec tires—fast, grippy, and perfect for dry conditions.
Cockpit: Clean and Integrated
The Pinarello MOST Talon Ultra XC cockpit is fully integrated, including a computer mount. Sleek, functional, and perfectly matched to the rest of the build.
Brakes: High-End Trickstuff
For braking power, we installed the brand-new Trickstuff Picola HD brakes with 3D-printed levers. Light, powerful, and visually stunning—paired with Trickstuff rotors for maximum stopping power.
Dropper Post: Fully Wireless
The latest RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post completes the cockpit. Wireless, fast, and controlled via the SRAM AXS POD on the handlebars. Clean and simple.
Finishing Touches
- Crankbrothers Eggbeater 11 pedals: lightweight and minimal.
- Selle San Marco Aspide Superleggera saddle: stylish and light.
Final Result: Only 10.05 KG
Our goal was to keep the bike under 10 kg without sacrificing performance. In the end, we hit 10.05 kg—a fantastic result for such a capable, high-performance build.
